The candidate will work with a select group of individual and estate tax professionals aligned, in an entrepreneurial environment, providing effective tax and financial planning and guidance. Will provide superior analytical thinking in relation to strategic planning for high net worth individuals, estates and trusts. Manage the pool staff with the other areas of the tax department to ensure there are sufficient resources to drive the projects during the year. Assist in driving efficiencies in the international tax and tax provision processes. Monitor legislative changes and determine any impact to the company from a tax and tax provision perspective. Implement any changes to the current processes due to changes in legislation. Assist in managing and reviewing the international tax filings. Manage the Section 987, tax basis, 905(c), and FTC calculations. Assist in the quarter and annual tax provision as needed. Ensure necessary controls are in place to complete timely and accurate filings.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA and/or J.D. degree required. MST or LL.M. degree preferred. Must have 10+ years of international income tax and tax provisions experience in a Big 4 accounting firm and/or comparable tax experience in a large corporation. Strong international tax and tax provision technical skills required. International tax planning and restructuring experience needed.
