Florida - Corporate Tax Manager

The candidate will be responsible for the delivery of a full range of tax services for multiple clients in a wide variety of industries. Oversee complex tax research projects for clients in diverse industries. Build client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client business. Conduct research and analysis of a wide range of tax issues related to business transactions. Supervise assignments of professional accountants serving as Associates, Senior Associates and Directors. Develop and motivate staff members by providing leadership, counseling and career guidance through mentoring and performance feedback. Assist with new business development, including add-on business. Attain visibility/recognition in the local Federal Corporate Tax Services community.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or other business related field. CPA, Enrolled Agent or other appropriate certification required. Advanced Degree preferred in MST, MAcc, J.D. or LL.M. Must have 8+ years of public accounting experience or equivalent gained working in law firms or industry. Excellent research and writing skills are needed. Prior Big Four experience a plus. Working experience with FAS 109 and FIN 48 a plus. Should have in-depth, first-hand knowledge of tax issues across a wide range of industries and use their experience in accounting and taxation to provide consulting and compliance services to federal and individual clients. Must possess the experience and professionalism necessary to deliver tax consulting and compliance services to meet clients' specific tax needs.
