The candidate will participate in the oversight of all aspects of a dynamic corporate tax department including hands on tax planning, research and writing relating to all phases of various business operations, corporate and partnership structuring, tax provisions, oversight of tax compliance (federal and state), interaction with outside tax consultants and oversight of tax staff. Will handle tax planning for new and existing operations, emphasis on maximizing all opportunities to reduce both current and deferred taxes with innovative structuring ideas while ensuring the highest degree of compliance. Be involved with all areas of the corporate tax provision including a working knowledge ASC 740 and Fin 48.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Advanced tax degree or law degree with LL.M. would be helpful. Must have 7+ years of experience in public accounting or corporate tax. Should have knowledge of accounting rules and practices, tax laws, and SEC reporting requirements. Working knowledge of tax software and programs including Excel, Word, Corptax, RIA, PowerPoint, and knowledge of JD Edwards helpful.
