Krispy Kreme Gets New GC Krispy Kreme Doughnuts has appointed Daryl Marsch as their new general counsel. Marsch had been the interim GC, but is now permanent. Before joining Krispy Kreme, Marsch had been senior counsel at RJ Reynolds Tobacco. Treasury's GC Is Hoyt Robert Hoyt is the general counsel at the US Treasury, and as such has been the man on the spot over the last few weeks during the ongoing financial crisis. Hoyt is the guy who designed the bailouts of AIG, Bear Stearns, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac. Boston In-house Counsel Study Shows Slow Growth Boston's in-house and corporate counsel have predicted slow legal spending growth in Boston over the next few months. They predict a low 3.1% growth versus the 10% growth of 2007. This is likely typical of most markets. |
